I have been through a lot in my young life when I grew up in the Boulevard 88 area, and I try to be a point of light for other people. I feel like if I am going to go into a situation where I do not know what the other person is going to be like, I put a really happy thought into my head and I think about things for a while. I do want to be one of those people who takes care of others but things will always get better, and if I can believe that then anyone else in the world can, too. I think that people try and make things out to be worse than they are, but when they are stuck in that moment and they feel like there is no other way out, then that can be very hard for them and they could get sad.
I think that if people understand that you have been through a lot of adversity too a few things happens. First, I think that it establishes that you are opening up to them and you are offering a little bit of yourself to them which may help them trust you and actually get them to open up to you since they see you opening up first. It could take a little bit of a dance to feel out the other person, you have to react to the way that they are putting out their feelers and then you respond and they respond again and then you get into a groove with one another which I really believe can help you realize that you are dancing. You will be able to have a two way conversation on a personal level before you know it and you are off on trust.
