I knew I was going to move closer to Charlotte, but I had no idea that I would end up moving into the city itself. I thought that it would cost too much money to have an apartment there on my own, but it turned out that a good friend of mine was wanting to move closer to the city as well. She had been searching apartments in South End Charlotte for a while, but she knew that she was going to have to get a roommate to make it work out for her.
When she approached me about my own search for a nice apartment, she proposed that we join forces. We both knew that it would mean we could get a much nicer apartment, and also that we would actually be able to get one right in the city of Charlotte rather than on the outskirts, where rent does tend to be less expensive. She showed me the website for City Park View, and I really liked it just from the pictures she showed me. I had never seen it in person, so we took a ride there that same day.
I thought we would just be driving around, but we stopped and was actually able to go on a tour. There are several two bedroom apartments, and we both agreed that the B4 model would be best for us. First off, it is huge at 1,144 square feet. We each have our own bedroom and bath, plus there is so much more too. The living room is right outside her bedroom, and the dining room is right outside mine. The kitchen is large, which I really like. She eats out a lot, but I love experimenting in the kitchen. Her favorite spot is the balcony, which is pretty much hers since I am not a fan of heights. Everything is working out for us!
